DNA Testing

ARCH Mobile Labs provides professional DNA specimen collection services for both legal and personal testing purposes. All collections are performed using strict identification procedures and chain-of-custody documentation when required for legal testing.

Paternity Testing

A paternity test determines whether a man is the biological father of a child. This test compares the DNA of the alleged father and the child to confirm or exclude biological parentage. This testing includes one (1) alleged father, one (1) child, and one (1) mother (not required but highly recommended).

Family Legacy DNA Testing

Family Legacy DNA testing is used when the alleged parent or family member is deceased. DNA may be collected from preserved biological samples or from close relatives to help determine biological relationships. This includes the deceaseds fingernails or hair follicles, one (1) child, and one (1) living parent (not required but highly recommended).

Reasons for Testing:

Grandparentage DNA Testing

Grandparent DNA testing determines whether a child is biologically related to the alleged father’s grandparents when the alleged father is unavailable for testing. This includes one (1) paternal grandparent (grandmother is highly recommended), one (1) child, and one (1) mother (not required but highly recommended).

Avuncular DNA Testing

Anvuncular DNA test compares the DNA of a child with the alleged father's sibling (aunt or uncle) to determine the likelihood of a biological relationship. This includes one (1) aunt or uncle, one (1) child, and one (1) mother (not required but highly recommended).

Siblingship DNA Testing

Full Sibling vs Half Sibling: This test is when they share the same mother but want to determine whether two individuals share the same father. This includes one (1) sibling (sharing same mother), one (1) child, and one (1) mother

Half Sibling vs Unrelated: This analysis determines whether two individuals share the same father but they do not share the same, mother. This includes one (1) alleged sibling (does not share same mother), one (1) child, two (2) mothers (both are not required but highly recommended)

Full Sibling vs Unrelated: This test determines whether two individuals share both biological parents or have no biological relationship. This includes two (2) alleged sibling.
